A re-edition of the Betexa classic from 1999: The rural railway station building Kout na Šumavě in 1:87 scale (H0) stands out with its hand-drawn artwork and classic Czech railway architecture.

With this kit, Czech publisher Betexa reissues a popular card modeling release originally published in 1999. The sheet features traditional hand-drawn illustration and coloring, giving the completed structure an authentic, textured character.

Designed in 1:87 scale (H0 gauge), the model is suited for model railroad layouts and rural diorama scenes. It replicates the station building along with its attached shed. A straightforward build preserving the traditional style of late-1990s architectural card models.

Kout na Šumavě station is situated in the Plzeň Region of southwestern Bohemia, near the Bavarian border at the foothills of the Bohemian Forest (Šumava). The station lies along the railway line between Domažlice and Tachov, which originally opened in 1888 as a local branch line.

The building reflects the standard railway station design constructed along rural lines throughout the Austro-Hungarian Empire in the late 19th century: a two-story main station house with a hip roof, accompanied by an attached freight shed and masonry plaster exterior. The station remains in service on the Czech regional rail network.
