This architectural gem is located in the village of Niměřice in Central Bohemia, Czech Republic. Built between 1867 and 1871, it was commissioned by the Thurn und Taxis family, who owned the local estate at the time. Designed by the famous architect Johann Schulz—known for the National Museum in Prague—the chapel is a prime example of Neo-Romanesque architecture. This is evident in its rounded arches, sturdy masonry, and the prominent octagonal central tower. Despite its small scale, the chapel's balanced proportions give it a grand, monumental appearance.
