The Gloster Gladiator Mk.I was the last biplane fighter used by the Royal Air Force and marked a turning point in aviation history. Based on the earlier Gloster Gauntlet, the new SS.37 design featured a more powerful Mercury engine and significantly improved aerodynamics.
Introduced in early 1936, the Gladiator became the RAF’s first fighter with an enclosed cockpit. Deliveries to the Royal Air Force began in February 1937, and a total of 747 aircraft were produced.
This 1:33 scale paper model offers a medium level of detail and is printed with metallic paint to enhance realism. A great choice for intermediate modelers and fans of classic aviation.
